The Egyptian Cultural & Educational Bureau (ECEB) of the Egyptian embassy in Washington DC is located at 1303 New Hampshire Avenue, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. ECEB building is also known as the Guy F. Whiting House (or the Whiting House), the building was constructed in 1889 and is a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District. Past owners of the property include the Brazilian government (former embassy), Bolivian government (former embassy), Bullis School (original location; then known as Bullis Boys’ School), National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (headquarters), and the Fleet Reserve Association (headquarters).
