Business structure, user agreement

This business is based upon this simple sentence of our user agreement...

"Users have authority over the direction of this enterprise."

and these rules...

1. We are open - anyone can collaborate in our business process.

2. We are transparent - all discussion is in writing, decisions are collaborative, accounting is online, and we produce reports that explain what we do for you to see.

3.  Directors have veto power.

Authority is determined on a, yet to be established algorithm based on user participation, the more the user participates, the larger their network, the more authority they have.

User Built, User Managed -- Business dedicated to social good.

We are a social media startup called A-Thimbol Corporation that operates under the brand thimbol.com.  Through thimbol.com we plan to offer sales and delivery services to a linear community, along a route between Villa Rica west of Atlanta to Midtown Atlanta.

Our goal is to give local merchants along this route a social media option they manage and operate directly via an open online transparent direct democratic application. This application networks merchants collaboratively, and provides delivery, marketing and online sales options.  We encourage merchants to support our goal of providing affordable sustainable housing, which we hope to build through the income we generate from services rendered.

What is a Direct Democratic Charitable NonProfit

The website is a business platform that operates through an online direct democratic accounting and management application. We are a Nonprofit corporation which you as a tenant control, this does not mean you own any part of the corporation. The corporation is an entity on its own, it can sue you, and you should see it as a person.  This company is operated as a Direct Democracy, this means we do not have a manager, management is everyone, so if you want something, use the website and message everyone, if 51% say yes, then that is what is done.

Although tenants do not own the corporation or its assets, they hold a lease and what is describe in the lease is there's, it is private property that can only be taken away if terms of the lease are not kept or rental is not paid!   Many large buildings in major cities, especially New York City, are built on ground leases that can run for hundreds of years. Although this may change in the future, the first few tenants get a lease  that does not go up in price,  and can be renewed as many times as you like.

Business activities through our delivery and sales provide support services for local business communities, we pay our service providers well, and the profit we generate  goes to build off grid affordable housing.  All business activity is transparent and visible online to our members and directors, if you make donations or offer work and services it will be meticulously documented.

Build Your Own Business on Our Collaborative Platform

Who We Are Looking For:
We seek entrepreneurs  who invest in themselves to build something lasting; self-motivated, visionary, and ready to lead. If you are someone who needs constant direction and the security of a fixed paycheck, this is not the right fit. This is for the builder who sees an opportunity and acts on it.

Our Structure: A Collaborative
First and foremost, Thimbol is a non-profit entrepreneurial platform governed by its member-directors. We are not a traditional company with a boss.

  • How It Works: Thimbol.com is an association of entrepreneurs who manage the company together through an open, online, direct-democratic platform. There is no top-down hierarchy.

  • Your Role: You are an independent business owner and a director of the platform. If you participate and generate income that income comes back to you. with the exception of an amount required to operate the infrastructure that supports you.  You along with the other members and directors decide what to pay, and how much, via an online administrative platform. You will receive a W-2 for administrative purposes, but should not see yourself as an employee under the supervision of a boss. This is your business, your startup, operating within a supportive collaborative organization.

The Opportunity: Build and Own a Delivery Route

Your primary business is to launch and grow a delivery route. You are the face of the service and the driving force behind its success.

  1. Be the Founder of Your Route: As the route operator, you are the CEO of your territory. You will do the initial marketing, build the client base, and become a trusted, familiar presence along the route. This personal connection is our greatest asset.

  2. Leverage a Multi-Service Platform: Start with delivery, but that's just the beginning. Through the trust you build, you can sell a "plethora of services" via our online marketplace. Imagine delivering firewood, managing dry-cleaning pickups, or offering same-day local commerce, the opportunities are vast.

  3. Use Our Marketing Technology: We provide the tools, like our interactive route map (https://www.thimbol.com/leafmap), to help you track customers, manage locations, and enable local businesses to sell their products online for you to deliver.

The Exit Strategy: Create and Sell Your Asset

This is the ultimate entrepreneurial payoff. Once your route is profitable and running smoothly, you can sell it as a turnkey business to a new operator, similar to a franchise. You can also create new, interconnected routes (e.g., from Midtown to Macon), building a network that becomes exponentially more valuable. The potential to create a multi-route service worth millions is real.

We Invest in You
We provide the platform, the technology, the initial operational structure, and our collective support. Your success, however, will be driven by your abilities, your hustle, and your vision.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to pioneer a new model of local business.
