This is a project to build  an  intentional community dedicated to building low cost off grid housing, as well as to provide employment opportunities.

I am looking for like minded individuals that are frustrated by the social conditions of our society and have both the will to change the status quo.  

A community of good people, living a better life while working to make life better for others.

Pay rent into a user run nonprofit dedicated to personal self improvement, all while helping others.

First and last months rent is required:  $400.00/month, rent never goes up.

You get a private 12 by 12 foot room that includes a small 12 volt fridge, hotplate, compost toilet, 200 watts of solar, battery plus inverter. You also get 7,000 square feet of land for you to grow a garden, build stuff, or whatever.

This is a start-up concept, that consists of 4+ acres of land, cars trucks tools, an old farm house, 2 sheds and 2 containers. The land has been gifted into a non-profit and the project will be run by seasoned tennants through an online app. The rent you pay goes into the company and the company is run by tenants, decides how to spend the funds, like paying rent to yourself.

I hope the first unit ready in a couple of months, but if you choose to come earlier you can live in your car or tent and help build the unit. I believe that being broke is mostly due to bad choices, lack of education, and a predatory economy, that given with the proper environment and community we can self-improve. We pool resources, live with less stuff, and help others who also find themselves suffering from our current lack of affordable housing. Rental payments are pooled and used to improve living conditions and grow our project.

Although this is not a job opportunity, I see building affordable off grid housing a high demand business opportunity, with the potential of expanding the project nationwide. Imagine having access to communities across the United States, with a variety of live- work participatory business opportunities.
