In our case Tenants, after the completion of a three year lease, are given the opportunity to become directors, managing the company via an online administrative platform. Directors of the corporation legally control the function of the company.

Prior to the lapse of the three year period, tenants operate as managers at the will of the directorship. This means that tenants who have not become directors still participate in management, but choices can be overruled by corporate authority.
All tenants pay $600.00 in rent which is applied to a building and administration fund, funds are administered by tenants through a democratic online management platform.

Our business is varied and multifaceted, but our primary core goal is to build sustainable off grid housing. For this reason we ask that you start from the ground up by building your own living space.
Choice of tenants:
There are 5 spaces available, for five original tenants who will direct this company. Because of this unique administrative style, the quality of the individual tenant is essential, as tenants will manage the organization and this will inform the direction of the business, therefor an initial vetting process is essential. Construction skills are good, but applicants willingness to learn is more important. This system of governance will commence once we have five (5) tenants.
Initial areas of live/work opportunities are:of course in construction and allied trades, but we also have needs for sewing/tailoring/design, sales. technology and social media.
