We grow Asian pears, persimmons, white peaches, guavas, all kind of citrus (Thai limes, Meyer lemons, Kumquats, Calamondin sour oranges, Buddha’s hand, Key limes, etc.) figs, jujubes, Super fruits (Goji berries, Aronias, Pomegranates, Lemons, Figs, etc.) We will show you how to grow citrus and tropical fruits organically without a heated greenhouse. Before you know it, you, too, can pick your organically grown tropical or citrus fruit from your own tree. YES, HERE IN MARYLAND.

Through our Community Supported Agriculture (or CSA) program we offer high quality fresh vegetables grown with organic methods. We deliver an educational, fun filled family experience with quality and consistency.

Harry Saval would be proud to know that the company he started from the back of a Baltimore grocery store in 1932 has succeeded into its 87th year. Hess Bros. Fruit Company is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

We are a third generation family-owned business that services the Mid-Atlantic region. William Deemer Class started with one stall in 1936 at the old Baltimore Marsh Market. As the business grew he expanded and moved to the Pulaski Highway Market in the 1960’s. In the 1970’s the business relocated to the newly constructed Maryland Wholesale Produce Market in Jessup, MD. This centralized location and modern facility enabled them to better serve customers in the Washington and Northern Virginia area.

Along with the same company name is the same company philosophy: delivering quality produce at a fair price, along with exceptional service. To accomplish this we have chosen to remain a small company. We are able to keep an eye on quality and can service our customers where and when they need us. When you call you are most likely talking with an owner. We had our chances to “sell out” to larger companies and let Kousouris Bros. become just another “big box” warehouse store. But we didn’t want our customers to become just a number.

Kegel’s produce has been a family owned business for over 70 years.

We have a modern-day 114,000 sq. ft. facility located in Lancaster, Pa. We have an extensive selection of local produce and an impressive intuitive online ordering portal. Our active membership with Produce Alliance as well as other industry partners helps us stay ahead of the trends and ensure a wide range of quality products. We are proud to be Woman-owned and currently hold our WBENC Certificate.

We’re proud to bring our guests good fun and great shopping — the way it used to be! We’re a traditional local Amish farmers market located in Glen Rock, PA, just a short distance from York, Lancaster, Harrisburg, and the Maryland line.

The Markets features over 20 merchants who sell everything from locally-grown produce, Amish desserts and canned goods, and farm-fresh meats and cheeses to traditional PA Dutch furniture, crafts, and gifts. Our farmers market also boasts a variety of local eateries all in one convenient location.
