District 02/ Florindo J. Fabrizio

Rep. Florindo "Flo" Fabrizio (D-Erie) is a lifelong resident of Erie. Fabrizio earned a Bachelor’s Degree in General Arts and Sciences from Penn State University, a Master’s of Education Degree in Counseling from Edinboro State University, and studied at Temple University. He taught a variety of subjects in the Philadelphia and Erie school districts and then worked as a stockbroker from 1973-1982.

District 001/Patrick J. Harkins

Rep. Patrick J. Harkins (D- Erie) was born and raised in Erie, the youngest of five children of the late Bernard "Babe" and Rita Harkins. A 1982 graduate of Technical Memorial High School with a certificate in electronics, Harkins went on to study political science at Mercyhurst College and Penn State Behrend.

District 1/Lawrence M. Farnese Jr.

Senator Larry Farnese was first elected to the Pennsylvania State Senate in 2008 and reelected to his third term in 2016 to represent the First Senatorial District. The District, which comprises some of Philadelphia’s most unique and vibrant neighborhoods, spans from Port Richmond on the Delaware River to Fairmount Park on the Schuylkill River and includes South Philadelphia, Center City, Fairmount, the Navy Yard, and Philadelphia’s International Airport and sports complexes.

District 8/ Anthony H. Williams

First elected to the Senate in 1998, after having served five two-year terms in the state House of Representatives, Williams represents the 8th Senatorial District, including Southwest Philadelphia and parts of South and West Philadelphia along with nine suburban communities in Delaware County (Collingdale, Colwyn, Darby Borough, Darby Township, Folcroft, Lansdowne, Norwood, Sharon Hill and Yeadon).

District 2/ Christine M. Tartaglione

Senator Christine M. Tartaglione was born September 21, 1960, in Philadelphia. She is the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret Tartaglione. The Senator is a lifetime Philadelphia resident. She attended St. Martin of Tours, St. Basil Academy and Peirce Junior College where she graduated Maxima Cum Laude.

District 3/ Sharif Street

Senator Sharif Street, elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 2016, represents the Third Senatorial District of Philadelphia, which encompasses a population of over 240,000 people in North Philadelphia, Nicetown, Roxborough, Lower Germantown, Logan, Olney, Fern Rock, Crescentville, East Oak Lane, East Wyoming, East Hunting Park and Melrose Park Garden.

District 4/ Art Haywood

His legal work includes saving families from home foreclosure, assisting nonprofit organizations to create affordable housing, representing organizations focused on community revitalization through the improvement of education, affordable housing and business development.

District 6/ John P. Sabatina Jr.

State Senator John Sabatina is a lifelong resident of Northeast Philadelphia. After excelling at Father Judge High School, he graduated Cum Laude from West Chester University in 1992, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He also received a law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1997.

District 7/ Robert M. Tomlinson

Sen. Robert M. “Tommy” Tomlinson has represented residents of the 6th District in Bucks County since 1995.

Previously, Tomlinson served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 18th District from 1991 through 1994. He is also a funeral director, and owns and operates Tomlinson Funeral Home in Bensalem, a family business established in 1945.

District 7/ Vincent Hughe

Senator Vincent J. Hughes is a leading progressive voice on local, state, and national issues. He was elected by his colleagues in 2010 to be the Democratic Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania Senate for over 20 years, first elected to represent the 7th Senatorial District in 1994. Senator Hughes served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1987 to 1994. During that time, he was the chair of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus from 1991 to 1994.

District 9/ Thomas Killion

Senator Tom Killion was elected to represent residents of the 9th Senatorial District in a special election held on April 26, 2016. Prior to that, he served for 13 years as a State Representative for Delaware County’s 168th Legislative District.

Senator Killion brings significant private sector experience and demonstrated leadership ability at the state and county government levels. He has actively supported medical malpractice reform, property tax reform and efforts to privatize the state’s liquor system.

District 10/ Charles McIlhinney

Senator Chuck McIlhinney, Jr. is currently serving his third term representing Bucks County in the Pennsylvania State Senate. He was first elected to the Senate in November 2006 and was reelected in 2010 and 2014.
